Small scale renewables and distributed generation - the future of electricity generation
Photovoltaics, wind turbines and micro/mini hydro are reliable, sustainable, clean and viable energy generation sources where electricity is generated at the point of consumption. It is our mission to develop and grow the industry in New Zealand for the benefit of all New Zealanders |

The CIS Tower, Manchester, England, is a grid connected building commissioned in November 2005. The tower uses building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) to replace conventional building materials in parts of the building. They are increasingly being incorporated into the construction of new buildings as a source of electricity generation
Renewables in the built environment are the future for residential and commercial developments in New Zealand
Other renewables like small wind and micro-hydro will play an increasing role in New Zealand’s 90% electricity generation from renewables by 2025 target |
